  • Where does the training take place? Do I have to travel?
  • All training will take place in your home. I will travel to you and provide all of the equipment.
  • What is circuit training?
  • Circuit training involves performing several sets of three or four different exercises that work specific parts of the body, in quick succession. For example, bicep curls followed by tricep extensions and push-ups. Yeah, it's a little confusing.
  • I wasn’t very fit before pregnancy; is exercise safe for me?
  • YES! Your pregnancy is a great opportunity to start living fit. There are lots of fun and effective options for prenatal women. And if you are quite fit already, I'll devise a plan for you to keep yourself in prime physical shape.
  • I just had my baby—when should I start working out again?
  • Readiness to work out after baby depends on many factors, including whether or not you had a cesarean. I will meet with you prior to starting your program and determine exactly when you should begin and what your level of intensity should be.
  • What is a Birth Doula?
  • A Birth Doula is an experienced childbirth attendant who supports the expectant mother through her labor. A doula provides informational assistance to help you achieve the birth that is right for you. She provides continuous emotional and physical support through your childbirth and shortly after. She does not make decisions for you—she believes that women are more than capable of making decisions—about their bodies and their babies—for themselves.
  • If I hire you, do I have to use you as both my trainer and my doula?
  • No. I am more than willing to provide you with my services as a doula, a trainer, or both but it is not necessary to combine these services. Please have a look at my Rates and Packages to find an option that fits your needs.
